Dissertation Embargo Policy

As of May 2012, Graduate Students have the option to embargo (to delay public access to) their dissertations for a period of two years, with the possibility of a renewal.  This option is designed to permit students (especially in Humanities and the Social Sciences) time to secure a book deal before their dissertation is made publicly available.
