GSG Furntiure Drive

The GSG Furniture Drive provides an opportunity for members of the Princeton community to help local charities by purchasing gently used furniture and other household items that have been donated by undergraduate students. This event, held annually after commencement, is organized by the GSG but relies on volunteers in order to run smoothly. All proceeds of this event are given to charity. The GSG Furniture Drive has consistently raised a significant amount of money for local outreach programs, including Home Front, Tender Hearts, Upper East Trenton Outreach, and Rescue Mission of Trenton. In 2009 we took in $3103.80.  We raised $1689 in 2008, $3588 in 2007, and $2010 in 2006.

NOTE: The GSG is not responsible for bringing items to the campus sites. Students are also responsible for transporting purchased items from the drive to their homes.
