Travel Funding While all departments should have some funds available for graduate student travel to academic conferences, there are two university-wide sources of travel funding that are dispersed quarterly. During three quarters of the academic calendar (fall, winter, and spring), funds are available from the Dean's Fund for Scholarly Travel. In the summer, funds are available from the Association of Princeton Graduate Alumni (APGA)'s Summer Travel Grant. The same application form is used for both, Both of these travel funds are governed by the same rules. All applicants must be presenting a paper that represents their own work; presenting a poster or serving as a panel discussant alone are not sufficient to qualify applicants for these funds. Students in the humanitites and social sciences, and those students further along in the program are given priority. Maximum awarded funds are $600, which will be reiumbursed through stipend checks.
