Announcements:
- Paid Position Available:
The GSG is looking to hire a student to improve/maintain our website. We are seeking someone with design skills to help revamp the current website, as well as to help manage the information content on the website and advise about IT matters.
The position will be paid at a rate of $11 per hour and the anticipated workload is about 2-3 hours per week. (Of course there will be some flexibility in the workload as courses/research become more/less intense.) If you are interested in this position, please contact Bill Zeller and Jeff Dwoskin (Facilities Committee Co-Chairs) at gsg@princeton.edu, including a brief summary of your relevant skills and experience.
- Ivy Summit:
The Ivy Summit is an annual conference of student leaders from the Ivy-Plus schools. It provides a valuable opportunity to share ideas about advocacy, representation and programming, and to learn from the experiences at our peer institutions. This year's summit is being held at Cornell University from 9 - 11 October.
The GSG is looking to send four delegates to the conference. If you are interested in attending, or if you know of someone who you think would be ideal, please contact Aurelien Fraisse (Corresponding Secretary) at gsg@princeton.edu. Applications should include a short statement explaining why you think you would be an ideal candidate. You are also welcome to speak to your candidacy at the next meeting of the GSG Assembly (this Wednesday, 08/12 at 6pm).
